Mochos and Krasi​

Nearby Stalis is Mochos village, where a Greek night is arranged every Wednesday. While enjoying your dinner at your favorite traditional tavern try Greek traditional dance yourself. It cannot be so hard. Do not miss it, call us or send us a message to pick you up from anywhere. Krasi is another Cretan village with its largest perennial plane tree aged 2400 years.

Lasithi Plateau

Lasithi Plateau & Diktaion Andron, Zeus' Birthplace

Drive up to Lassithi Plateau and to the village of Psychro you may visit Diktaion Andron, where the two trails, the “ancient”and the new one, in approx. 20 to 30 minutes, leads you to that cave. There is also the option to hire a taxi-donkey! Whatever you decide, the views to the Lassithi Plateau from both trails are spectacular, and Diktaion Andron is one of the most beautiful caves of Crete with impressive decor and dramatic stalagmites and stalactites. Its central place in history and mythology made it known as the Bethlehem of the Ancient World.

Heraklion

Heraklion is famous for the Minoan Palace of Knossos and the Venetian walls, Harbour and Fortress (Koules) dating back to the 16th century. Charming old buildings and churches, Museums, Lion Square Fountain and so many shops, café and restaurants can be your adventure or relaxing excursion.

Lassithi - Agios Nikolaos

Lassithi/ Agios Nikolaos with its famous bottomless lake, while Elounda, Plaka and its surrounding parts boast beautiful scenery of the sea and Kolokytha (Pumpkin in Greek) is worthy visiting. Milatos with its great fish restaurants and Neapoli with its Famous Amazones Park are promising great pleasure. Ierapetra and Sitia are also lovely destinations for day trips and swimming in their lovely beaches.

Rethymno

Rethymno with its lovely Venetian Fortress on the hill and long sandy beaches where one can see the protected areas for the Caretta Caretta sea turtle nests.   Nearby one can find the famous monastery of Arkadi with historical worth. For more adventurous persons a ride to Spili village or through the Kourtaliotiko gorge and to Plakias for a swim in the Libyan sea, Bali and Fodele with picturesque beaches are also overwhelming for visiting.

Chania

Chania boasts a Nautical and an Archaeological Museum the latter housed in a former monastery. A striking 16th-century lighthouse guarding the harbor and of Venetian, Egyptian and Ottoman construction is said to channel power from the Ley Lines. Balos, Falasarna and Elafonissi (the pink beach), or even Matala, Samaria Gorge, Paleochora on the South coast, Chrisi Akti and Platanias are breathtaking and extraordinary for excursions.
